Grace Tolbert is an emerging designer with a focus on graphic design, digital media, and print design.

Hi! I’m Grace. 

Ever since I was little, I have had a passion for the creative. Scarcely was I seen without a paint brush or pencil in hand. My life has always been centered around design, aesthetics and art; which has led me to this career in graphic and print design. 

For the past three years, I have studied a Bachelor of Graphic Design at Flagler College. Here, I have turned my love of art into tangible skills I have used to help new, and existing, brands to achieve their branding and design needs. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign (to name a few), have become like second languages to me, all of which I have become fluent in. I seek to continue to hone my skills in the use of both technology, as well as traditional, physical design tools, to adapt to the ever-changing industry. 

In 2020, I received an internship at M.C. Pressure, a letterpress print studio which applies traditional printmaking techniques to graphic design. After my internship, I transitioned into a full-time role at M.C Pressure as a Creative Assistant. Working with M.C. Pressure has helped me realize my love for traditional graphic design techniques, which has pushed me to incorporate these techniques into the contemporary graphic design realm. 

I love the challenge of working from the confines of a brief to create visual designs which best reflect your brand or business. As an observant and understanding designer, I create pieces which aim to bring your vision to life. Though acknowledging the passion each brand brings to the table, I translate your brand’s ethos into creative work which pushes the boundaries of what is expected and is appealing to your target demographic. When a brand comes to me with a problem, a fire is lit inside of me to find a creative solution and exceed the clients expectations.

My work extends from what may ‘typically’ be expected of a graphic designer. Gone are the days where a logo is all that a brand needs to succeed in this competitive market. This is why I am well-versed in branding, print design (packaging and labelling), digital media and advertisement. With a diverse skill set, I can accomplish everything your brand needs to succeed. 

I am excited for new opportunities within the graphic design and branding space. I am passionate about helping your business realize your branding vision and executing design solutions tailored to your needs. When it comes to your brand, it can be nerve-wracking to place trust into someone to bring your vision to life.
